Youth Allowance – Information on the Proposed Changes

Whilst CEFA is pleased with a number of the proposed changes to Youth Allowance, a change that is of particular concern is that students will now have to defer university for two years and work for 30 hours a week for at least 18 months of that two year period in order to qualify for the independent level of Youth Allowance.
