So Many Unused Scholarships!
You would be amazed to know that some universities and TAFE colleges have more scholarships than there are students applying for them.
Two such examples are the Commonwealth Education and Accommodation Scholarships. These scholarships are there to help with the cost of accommodation and course fees and are available to students studying at an accredited university or college, such as TAFE.
The Accommodation Scholarship in 2008 is worth $4,324 per year for up to four years and the Education Scholarship is worth $2,162 per year for up to four years. These scholarships are offered directly through the universities’ and colleges’ scholarships offices. While they are means tested, they also consider students’ extenuating circumstances.
So why not give the university or TAFE college you will be studying at a call and ask them for an application form.
