Off and Racing in Temora
Not only is Temora the home of one of Australia’s fastest pacing horses that ever lived, it is also the home of our fastest committee to form.
After hearing our Executive Director speak at the 2008 NSW Shires Conference, a band of motivated Councillors and the local Mayor were quick to return home and drive the creation of the Temora and District Education Fund. A great cross section of the community has come together to drive the Fund forward and they have been greatly assisted by the generous donation from former Temora boy and philanthropist Mr Brian Kahlefeldt, OAM.
