The Country Education Foundation of Australia (CEFA) has established partnerships with several tertiary education institutions around the country that provide additional financial assistance to CEFA grant recipients.
Many universities and colleges realise that it is significantly more costly for rural students to access post high school education. Because of this, an increasing number of universities and colleges are becoming CEFA Education Partners. These partnerships are an important way of providing increased financial assistance to young rural people who want to undertake post high school studies but need a financial helping hand to make their goal a reality.
How it Works
Assistance from CEFA’s Education Partners is primarily available to undergraduate full time students in the first year of their studies; however, some will also provide assistance to second, third or fourth year students if funds remain after all 1st year students' grant matches have been allocated. Where possible, attending students will receive a dollar for dollar match of their locally received grant.
We are extremely fortunate to have such generous support from our Education Partners and it is expected that all grant recipients attending a partner institution will play their part in supporting the relationship for the benefit of future students.
