CEFA students at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) and their families recently attended a scholarship certificate presentation in the ACT.
Michaela O'Keefe and Abbey Peterson (Goulburn) and Katie Jayne O'Brien (Braidwood) were presented with their certificates, representing the co-funding book voucher scholarships they have received from ACU, as a CEFA Education Partner.
The Canberra Campus Scholarships and Awards Presentation took place before 100 family, friends, donors and distinguished guests. Associate Professor Patrick McArdle, Canberra Campus Dean, who presided at the ceremony, said the presentation was to congratulate the hard work of some wonderful students and to acknowledge the family and friends whose contributions sometimes may be unsung but never underestimated.
ACU is delighted to have recently formed an Education Partnership with CEFA which is doing excellent work in supporting students from regional and rural Australia to pursue higher education through community-level fundraising.
Congratulations to Michaela, Katie Jayne and Abbey who are pictured with Moira Nadjecki, Chair of Chapter, ACU's advisory board.
